Did you go to uni? Yes, I’m a Broadcast Journalism graduate from the University of Gloucestershire *cough* First Class Honours *cough*. It’s one of the few things I feel comfortable bragging about.
Favourite film? God, I love cinema so picking a favourite is really hard! My go-to is the Lord of the Rings trilogy – I’m a massive Tolkein nerd. But don’t talk to me about The Hobbit. I’m still disappointed.
Favourite site to waste time on? I am a prolific Buzzfeed quiz-taker – who doesn’t want to know how hipster their grandparents are or which Disney Prince I would marry?
Why PR? I love storytelling and using great stories to build brands. Plus PR has the culture, creativity and pace that I crave in my work. Even after nearly a decade in the business, I still get a rush whenever a new piece of coverage hits!
Tell us three interesting facts about you:
1) Angharad translates to ‘beloved / much-loved’ in English. My middle name is Sian which is ‘God’s greatest gift’. I think my parents were really, really pleased to have me!
2) I’m happiest when hill walking with my dog and fiancé. Any hill will do – so long as it has a great view and we have it all to ourselves.
3) I got my first tattoo when I was 16 and have spent the last 13 years trying to decide what my next one will be. Feel free to suggest something!
Describe yourself in a few sentences: Sarcastic, witty with a classic type A personality. Rugby fan (obvs) and typically patriotic about Wales. I’m also one of those crazy dog parents and will talk about Max any chance I get. You have been warned…
What are you most looking forward to doing here? Teaching the team to say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, getting great results for clients and helping to build the agency into one of the best in the UK. I’m up to the challenge on all three counts!
