If you can successfully piggy-back off a calendar event or something in the news agenda with more than a tenuous link you should absolutely do it. That’s the experience of our client, Bidvine.com, which ran a survey of it’s members before Christmas to find out what they were most looking forward to, and most worried about, in 2017.
Before long, the story that more people would rather quit social media than smoking was picked up by several national outlets, including Mirror online, Harpers Bazaar, Stylist and Glamour magazine, the majority of which linked back to the full story on Bidvine’s website.
Not too shabby for the first media sell-in of 2017!
