No, I applied and got in but decided that route wasn’t for me, so thought I’d go down the apprenticeship route!
Favourite film?
I really can’t pick one, but it’d have to be between Step Brothers, Avatar or Forrest Gump
Favourite site to waste time on?
Most of my time online is spent shopping – so ASOS and Missguided will no doubt be at the top of the list! Although I do like to read Glamour magazine online and travel blogs, like Hand Luggage Only and The Londoner.
Why PR?
The freedom of creativity, working with a variety of brands and people and the impact PR can have on a business all drew me to it.
Tell us three interesting facts about you:
1) I’m constantly asked where I’m ‘from’ on nights out, with many asking if I’m Chinese, despite there being nothing in my heritage as far as I’m aware! I’ve been told I could win an Iggy Azalea lookalike contest a few times, too.
2) I applied to take part in looooads of kids’ TV shows when I was growing up. Once, my sister and I set up an assault course in our living room and filmed ourselves doing it as an audition tape for CITV’s Jungle Run (here on YouTube if you’ve never seen it). Still sad to this day that we didn’t hear back from one of them!
3) Planned to study textile design (I love art and fashion) – I’d been given a university place but ultimately thought I’d better enjoy PR
